And she's just lip-syncing to the sample CD song.
Dang.
Come on, Brooklyn!
I'm mad.

I don't think BROOKLYN is a very good show, but that was by FAR the best Broadway number of the morning.
Congrats to them! They come off very well.

Posted: 11/25/04 at 11:31amWell, it's easier if you can prerecord your bit and do it as many times as it takes to get it right. What about the people who have to be out there in front of the crowd in whatever weather happens to come up on that day. I think it was a cop-out.

On CBS? Because all they did was one other song...I am still waiting for the Producers to see Hunter...what is up?

Posted: 11/25/04 at 11:31amAs much as I would have loved to hear the divine Miss Eden wail away on that song, I'm fine with the lip-synching. It was an overall good performance, and I just really like that song.

Posted: 11/25/04 at 11:34amIt was by far the best performance of the parade. This year's performances were from crap shows, except for Wonderful Town. I can't believe I woke up early for this. Especially since Brooklyn didn't come on until 10:30, haha.

Posted: 11/25/04 at 11:36amYeah, me too! I made sure I was awake. I don't like how CBS has all their performaces so far apart. They did "Matchmaker, Matchmaker" first, waited 2 hours, and did "Brooklyn" and will be doing "The Producers" (hopefully) in the last hour! I'm still waiting...

Are you kidding me? Five people standing up mouthing the words to a song they prerecorded three weeks ago is the best performance? Did you see the "Wonderful Town" performance or even "The Producers" for that matter, where people actually did something?

They lip synched for The Producers and Wonderful Town too.
I think the BROOKLYN number came off better though I would consider Producers and WT to be better shows.
Brooklyn presented themselves very simply. They all looked good. The sun was out. The view of the Brooklyn Bridge was beautiful. It came off very well.
Must people run all over the place to impress you? That's what All Shook Up did.

Posted: 11/25/04 at 11:55amI know that lip synched EVERYTHING but at least the others were brave enough to do it in front of an audience not prerecord it three weeks earlier. And the running around, as you call it, for "Wonderful Town" was at least done to good choreography which is something I won't say for "Good Vibrations" and "Bombay Dreams".

Posted: 11/25/04 at 11:55amI really enjoyed Brooklyn and The Producers .. even if they lip synched or not, all of us know in the case of Eden Espinosa and Hunter Foster that they do have the talent regardless if they sing live or not. I missed everything else, but these two were great! Updated On: 11/25/04 at 11:55 AM

Posted: 11/25/04 at 11:56amIt's called choreography. BKLYN isn't really a dance and sing kind of show, pab. What did you expect Eden to do?...do the Hot Honey Rag? Updated On: 11/25/04 at 11:56 AM

Posted: 11/25/04 at 11:57amI was fully aware that they all lip-synch, just trying to point it out to people who didn't like how Brooklyn or the other performances lip-synched.

Yo, Producers was on an empty street.
And Brooklyn did their number for millions of TV viewers. How is that not brave?
And I'm not disagreeing with you on Vibrations and Bombay. I'm still stunned by Bombay's use of Tamyra in a role she doesn't even play!
In my opinion, Brooklyn was the best commercial. They ended up looking the best.
