Am I absolutely insane or does she somehow make this work? I don't mean she makes it work AS Eva, but as another character singing those words under other circumstances.

I only wish I had her wonderful Goya Colada commercial which I saw a million times when I was a child. "Nothing but-a the creme of the creme coconut. They're adopted".

I have searched and searched for that commercial and finally found part of it here. Why don't they make classic commercials like this anymore?

And Hermione should have replaced Elena - the show would have stayed open!

She is diffenently not for everyone. I did like her singing in A Little Night Music though. I stand by my statement that she sounds like a Muppet and comes off a little cartoonish. I don't think the Evita song did her any favors.

Her voice works in a villain kind of way here. It isn't a pretty voice, but she makes it work. I don't hear a muppet.
