I will be in New York February 13-16 and on ticketmaster, I cannot obtain a ticket to "Wicked" on these dates. I was wondering if there were any other options than rush...like cancellation line or if anyone could email me with a code? Thanks in advance.
Honestly, the best chances you have are the cancellation line and going to the box office personally, both of which arent great resources.
they have a lottery on the day of

Are you sure you cant get tickets? or can you just not get tickets on ticketmaster? i couldnt get tickets when i was there and when i got there i went to the box office and got second row tickets. try cancellation lines though. lottery sucks. its soooo hard to get tickets but you should try anyways! wicked is worth it
Visit the box office on your first day in the city. Do you know anyone in the city that could visit the box office for you? That would be best.
this is a long shot, but you can always try e-bay. there are always tickets being sold on there, for the week u will be here, im not sure. its work looking!! if you really want to go try looking for single seats. if you ask for 3 tickest it will look for them all together, but if u look for 3 single seats you ahve more of a chance of going.

I just went to ticketmaster.com and for your dates the following came up and the 13th was available. I searched for 2 tickets best available:

Valentine's Day weekend is a busy time for a hot show.
I'm trying for the raffle Valintines day since it's sold out:P

go to the box office, the best availability is weekdays so u have a good shot. they also might have singles seats but if your a group you might have to seperate. i think your chances are good if u go to the box office and a last resort is lottery. good luck

dont use ticketmaster just wait and go to the box office, i hate all those service charges.
The B.O. will have seats. This show has a tricky design, and there are many partial view seats, those down front on the sides, say BB through D. The last 3 or 4 seats on each side bank are not routinely sold, and are sometimes even given out for weekday performances when they can't unload 'em. Ticketmaster probably doesn't offer them. I must advise: don't resist them. You miss a couple of upstage moments, yes (most notably, you can't see the house that has fallen on the Witch of the East in act two, and the staircase in the castle.) But 90% of this show is staged way down center -- literally -- to provide intimacy in the Gershwin; you can really enjoy the ladies' performances up close and personal. I saw the show for a 2nd time from such seats, and can assure you, the trade off is worth it.

I just want to see the show. I have read the book and hear the show is totally unlike the book in many ways and yet is true to the book a bit.
i had a friend in town last weekend and we tried to win lottery so he could see it and each day had at least 500 people show up... we didnt win.. we didnt get ticks in the cancellation line either.
some tips:
Come with more than one person if possible (to enter more than one name)
While one person waits for the lottery names to be drawn, have the other person stand in the cancellation line (people who dont win the lotto run over to the get in line for cancellations and it gets long fast. There is never a set amount of cancellation tickets but you have a greater chance of getting what they do have the closer you are to the front of the line).
Make sure your "friend" who waits in the cancellation line is within eyesight in case their name is drawn outside for the lotto.
Personally, I hate sitting on the front row but for $25 you cant beat it. I prefer to sit middle orchestra or lower balcony. The show is such a visual masterpiece with incredible staging and lighting design that is a little lost sitting so close. But even still, the show is definitely worth the $100 full price.
Good luck. Let us know how your experience goes...
