I know that there are other threads on this but I just wanted to set the record straight in a fresh thread because this is the truth. Whatever demo was circulated before was nothing official and none of those people are on the current and new demo nor involved with the upcoming show AT THIS POINT.
A new demo was recorded two weeks ago with Will Chase, Christian
Anderson, Greg Naughton, Leslie Kritzer, Celia Keenan-Bolger.
It has been rumored VERY strongly through many sources that Will Chase is set to star and as soon as details are ironed out an official announcement will be released. I can not speak about the others as I do not have information regarding them.
I was honored to hear a few songs from the demo and I think everyone will be very happy. Its incredible music!! Also, HF
fans needn't worry. The integrity the book and vibe of the movie are intact! I heard that from and INCREDIBLY reliable source. so trust me! Its exciting!!

Yay. I LOVE the book and from what I heard of one of the old demos the music is great.

Posted: 4/26/06 at 3:35pmI want to know what happened to Matt McGrath. He was playing the lead in a bunch of presentations I saw and was UTTERLY charming. "The Desert Island top 5 Breakups" song (I'm butchering the title there) is absolute killer.

Now, I'm not saying Snoop dog told me while we were drinking tea on his verandah....BUT Snoop Dog told me while we were drinking tea on his Verandah.
Also, Snoop, or the snoopster as I call him, did confirm that Jesus will in fact descend to Earth on 06-06-06.
And He will indeed engage in a rap battle with Mr. Sondheim...Unfortunatly, it will be a charity benefit and lowest ticket prices for the balcony will be $1,000. Maybe someone can bootleg this for me? Oooh, or maybe there will be a lottery, Jesus loves picking names out of hats.

Haha, popped a cap in his knee is an expression...to shoot someone in the knee, sorry didn't realize that could be misinterpreted, I was "explaining" what happened to Matt McGrath...

a lot of times people who do early demo's do not get the role.
