once again after eight dosnt know what the **** he is talking about, the whole play is extremely strong the 2nd act had me in tears all 3 members of the cast are strong and kathleen talking to the audience helped me connects with her on so many more levels i see tonys in this shows future

thismyshow, you would do well to learn how to respectfully express your opinion without being offensive. Trust me, if Jordan Catalano and I can respectfully disagree on this show, you can learn too. Not everyone shares the same opinion, but everyone has the right to express theirs without being told they don't "know what the **** [they are] talking about".

Your experience was that the show touched you. I can't negate that and don't want to, but I don't share it at all. I found the show calculating and manipulative. If this show even gets a nomination in this glut of plays it will be for sets or lighting. Odds are good it will be closed by Tony time.

Nice to hear some good buzz. Totally unrelated but the director actually graduated from my college.

Interesting, Mattbrain. Just out of curiousity, which college? I noticed over on ATC they're asking how it is that Ruggiero (HIGH's director) and Lombardo (author) manage to keep getting backing. Neither of them have very good track records.

I apologize to after eight I wrote that immediately after seeing the show so i was still emotionally buzzed, I totally disagree that this will be gone before june 12th with what people were saying after the show this is a show thats going to have good word of mouth also got to say hello to matt and rob they were extremely nice guys so that was cool.

Thanks for the apology, but really, you needn't have. I've received a lot worse flak on these boards, and will no doubt receive a lot more. In the end, though, it all matters not a jot.

In any event, I'm glad you enjoyed this show to the degree you did.

Thisismyshow: please don't take this as a slam, but it is very hard to read read your posts. PLEASE use uppercase letters and periods to clarify your thoughts and make them reader friendly.

Please.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.
