I try not to judge shows before I have seen them, and yes, I know it is getting some of our youth interested in musical theater, but ahhhh! Again!

I think they should still use the old cast and just have it that they never were able to graduate because they didnt pass any of their classes.

I liked High School Musical, but in response to this, I only have one thing to say: "Do. Not. Want."

The third one had a very definite ending.

High School Musical is not introducing youths into musical theater...it's introducing them to edited pop garbage.

Of course they will. That movie is nothing without the cast. They will call it HSM 4: The College Years......... just like Saved By The Bell.

CSonBroadway-- Well, HSM is about cool kids who aren't embarrassed to do musical theatre. Watching the movie will make more people more likely to try out for their own school musicals, which in turn can introduce them to great theatre.

I know y'all aren't looking for any serious discussion, but there was a small gaggle of new characters introduced in HSM3, with the understanding that were the franchise to continue, they would be the new protagonists now the original lot have graduated.

Some time back I'd heard that there was indeed going to be a 4th movie and none of the original six were going to be in it. The cast would consist of characters who were introduced in HSM3. I'm assuming the British exchange student from the third one will be there but beyond that I really have no idea.

If they use other tweenie disney stars for HSM4 then that's pathetic. I really don't understand why Disney doesn't hire teenagers who can actually sing. There are plenty out there...to bad they just hire on looks.

Omigod! I can't wait for this movie! It is a shame the original cast won't be back.



I am wondering who will be in the cast. I know Tiara Gold, Jimmy Zara, and Donny Dion are in it, but I can't wait to see and hear the rest of the cast.
