Posted: 6/26/14 at 4:41amIn Act 2 Hamish Linklater's Benedic means to say "...and a whole bookful of these quondam, carpetmongers..." However he actually says condom makers, and while it almost seemed like a line Shakespeare could've written, Hamish kinda loses it, as does the audience for a good two mins, his recovery is equally hilarious as he pauses tries to compose himself, but can't, even flubbing another word to which he crumples a piece of paper in anger and throws it at the floor. As Beatrice (Lily Rabe) enters she is visually giddy and giggles through her "yea signoir, and depart when you bid me." Eventually they both found their composure, but it was a superb flub nonetheless, I wonder if Meryl Streep being in the audience made him nervous...? Side note, I legit bumped into Meryl Streep, like our bodies touched, completely by accident as I was not paying attention to where I was going. I meant to apologize, but nothing came out if my mouth. A great night of theatre, and a fantastic show, we'll worth the free price and the 4 hour wait in line at 8am.

I've bumped into Meryl Streep "by accident" also.
I think she's onto all of us who do.
