#1Hilton Theater Seating Question
Posted: 2/5/07 at 10:50amI apologize if there is a post anywhere about this, but I could not find one. I am ready to buy my tickets to The Pirate Queen but am not familiar with the Hilton theater. I found tickets for Row A, stage left aisle. Is this too close to the stage to truly enjoy the performance? Are stage right or left seats good for viewing? I realize this show has not begun yet, so it's possible no one really knows how the show will be staged and therefore how to assess the seating question, but I thought I would ask anyway...any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you.

well i'd be hesitant to sit anywhere OTHER than in the orchestra for this show. i'm sitting in CC and i felt confident with that seat. the show is going to be horrible regardless so just take your pick as to how close up to the mess you wanna be

Posted: 2/5/07 at 10:59amYikes. I am looking forward to the show, but that's just me. I definitely will stay in the Orchestra, but what about stage left or right as opposed to center? I am taking advantage of the discount and all the seats that keep coming up are stage left or right. I know in some theaters this hardly matters, but in others you can really lose some of the effect. I guess all in all it might not matter too much.

a lot of reviews for shows when they are out of town are crappy! Just wait and give it a chance!!!! I am so tired of having people judge shows before they have even seen them and JUST going off of other peoples opinions! Why don't we all go into new shows with our OWN opinions! seriously! Can't we just go in with open minds!

Posted: 2/5/07 at 2:44pmI think everything that opposes the main views on this board people think as 14 year old girl. I am far from a 14 year old girl! I just don't understand the point in thinking something is going to suck before it's even finished or before you have the opportunity to see it. Call me crazy but I would prefer to be thoughful and not base my opinions on what others tell me! But that's just me.

Posted: 2/5/07 at 3:04pmIts a huge theatre. I wouldnt want to sit too close and to far to the side there. If you can get close side seats that are on the middle aisle, go for it. But I wouldnt suggest far sides.
