Hiptix Question

I joined hiptix in august and bought tickets for all the shows so far this season but haven't gone to one yet, first one is next sunday for after miss julie.

anyway, i have 2 tickets for wishful drinking on december 22nd and just found out my girlfriend will be away, how strict are they with the ID policy? I know i can find a friend to go but my mom mentioned that she would enjoy seeing it.. is there an easy way around that or no?

In my experiences, they have only checked my ID at the box office window when ordering/picking up tickets. I have never had it checked at the door when entering the theatre, if that's what you are concerned about.

I've never had anyone check my ID at the box office window when picking up tickets from will call and never at the door while entering the theater. I think they offer two tickets so you (the young professional under 35) can take a guest, and I would imagine that's ANY guest.

I think you and your mom will be fine. If you're at all concerned about it, don't pick up the tickets from will call with your mom standing right next to you - have her meet you by the ticket scanners or something AND/OR just wait about 5 minutes before entering the theater. Everyone is so in a rush to just get you to your seats, that if they bother checking IDs they wont during the mad-dash before curtain time.
