I saw the show when I was in London last Jan. and I did not like it at all. The group I was with enjoyed it a lot. However, I found the technical aspects and lighting (at points) far more interesting then the story. I could never really get lost in the magical world they were trying to create b/c the acting was (to be honest) not good or believable at all. The show (both parts) is also 6 hours and 30min. Needless to say it is long, and drags and loses its focus in many places.
As an audience member you should never be sitting in your seat waiting for the next set change to happen b/c that's the best part of the show! Just my opinion.

i was in london last winter break w/my school for an ARts Abroad thing and i saw it and it was by far the most technically amazing show i have ever seen! i loved every second of it. and i was in suspense for both nights, i even started readign the books the day i came home!
Good luck!

The books are sooo totally wonderful...but reading the script, it's not a very good adaptation...it combines events very well, but the stuff that seemed like poetry in the books sorta comes of as trite and silly...the dialouge just isn't very good...i don't know how it looks on stage though...but the script left me feeling down...i'm curious as to what the stoppard connection is here ...
