I'm really sorry if this question has been asked, but I looked and didn't find it.

I was wondering if anyone knew about the seating for Student Rush for the show? Basically... where the seats at? :)

They did away with student rush the week the show opened. Standing room is available, and the rear mezz is cheap-ish. I think that's about it for reasonably priced options.

Sorry.

Actually, student rush is back, but only at certain performances (I think Tues - Th, but not 100% sure) and only until mid-July (I think). There's a new sign in the box office.

Hmmm...thanks for the info, Mike!

I did SRO last week (I think) and the old sign (through April 30th) was still there.

It makes sense for them to keep the crappy/obstructed seats for rush, imho.

Does this mean its the same seats held for student rush as it used to be?

And hang on, when did you win the discus?

I was just figuring that's what would be the case. You wouldn't think they'd reserve non-obstructed seats, would you? I think it's generous of them to have anything, the way they've been selling. What was the deal before though? Was it the front row? Or just the front/side? I was under the impression that it was the quasi-obstructed front/side seats (which to me would make sense/seem fair).

I did student rush on May 4, a Thursday. They only sell it during weekdays. My seat is in the first row central orchestra. Wonderful seat, no obstruction view.

Do they still sell them in advance or is it just the day of now??

Thanks, sanda and Mike!

I went this morning but they were out of seats at 10 AM. However, they let me reserve two student rush tickets for tomorrow (Wednesday). They gave me A1 and A3 in the orchestra. Are these seats obstructed?

Standing room is $22 and can be bought in advance. I bought two standing room tickets for a Saturday night on the Wednesday prior. An excellent way to see this incredible play cheaply.
