When I last counted my Playbill collection, I had over 3,000 of them. They date back to 1963 and include Broadway, Off-Broadway, ballet and opera.
I would guess that now the number is around 3,200.

Well if we're not just talking Broadway, but things like touring casts, regional theatre, and shows in the West End...
I saw about 104 different shows in 2004.
And if I remember correctly, 92 in 2003.

Posted: 1/30/05 at 8:15pmWow! Some of you guys have seen soooooo many shows. Are you made of money by any chance? :) If I had the money I'd see so many more than I already have. On Broadway I have seen 13 shows (no duplicates.) Off Broadway I have seen 17 shows (inlcluding regional theater), and then I have seen 2 operas. I consider myself extremely lucky to have seen that many productions, considering that I'm only a freshman in high school. :)

Well I officially win for least with a grand total of zero in the last fifteen years, though I'll be seeing four next month.
If we count tours though, then about 10 w/o duplicates.
