My wife wants to see Ann so I am just curious on Holland's stage door demeaner - friendly signer or right out the door to her waiting car ?? Thanks

Can't speak to how she behaves at the stage door, but she is a lovely person to work with. I'd say it's worth the try.

Holland Taylor Stage Door

Incredibly gracious. She takes awhile to come out, but was happy to sign and wanted to personalize everything she did. She also really likes to sign this particular Playbill in red marker. She had it in her pocket - I don't know why, but I just find the fact that she's cared enough to think, "red is what makes sense for Ann," tickles me.

Make sure you know how to get to the stage door. If you don't, a quick google search will reveal an old thread on this site with nice turn by turn directions.

Holland Taylor Stage Door

She was a wonderful woman (which I totally did not expect - judging by the characters she usually plays). She does take a while to come out (when I went, it was about 45 minutes, but it was also previews). But when she came out, she signed and took pictures with everyone. This is a woman who loves her fans.

She also encourages you to follow her on Twitter. I did, tweeted the photo that we took together, and she replied!

When I went during previews, it took her an hour to leave. A friend of mine went and said she came out after 2 hours.

Holland Taylor Stage Door

I went last week. it took quite a while for her to come out, maybe around an Hour. But she had people visting- including Charlotte Rae who could not have been sweeter when she was leaving thru the stage door. Holland was very sweet and soft spoken and had no problem signing or taking pictures- just no flash.
