One of the main reasons we chose NYC for our honeymoon is because we love Broadway shows. Two of the shows we are planning on seeing are Wicked and Little Mermaid.
It would be a real disappointment if the two sides can't get their **** together ASAP.

Missing the point....many people go to NYC because they love Broadway shows. Your tastes are different than mine I'm sure so no need to comment.

HBBrock-
The strike, or whatever this unrest might be called, should be over by then. Hopefully, Wicked and The Little Mermaid will be entertaining audiences once again in the nearest future.
And they lived happily ever after.
hbrock: If the strike is not over by January, you will not be the only one affected by the fallout. The city, theater, producers and stagehands can NOT AFFORD a strike that long.
It will be over well before that.
Can't you reschedule at this point?? Or do you already have tickets to the shows?
Cause hotel should be fairly easy to cancel, and airline without otoo much loss of money?

No...our honeymoon is happening right after our wedding on Jan 5th regardless. We already have airfare, hotels, and 3 Broadway shows booked...one which is Young Frankenstein which would still be on.
Not getting rescheduled.
Oh, relax. You're panicking WAY too early. As most stated, the strike will be over soon as their livelihood depends on it. All this bluffing will eventually come to end in no time as no one can afford being unemployed TOO long.
Your trip is about 2 months away.
Relax.
Honey, I want a divorce, you promised we'd see The Little Mermaid.
Btw, I'm seeing Wicked Part 12 in 2022. Do you think the strike will still be on by then?
