hey guys. i decided to make a post dedicated to the sadly unheardof show, "honk!" i was in it a little while ago and absolutley love it. the stiles/drewe (mary poppins) score is amazing! i have heared it mentioned a couple of times before by people but i thought i would bring it everyones attn. it hasn ever been on broadway, and i haven't heard of plans to, but i just wanted to see if anybody else has heared of it and appreciates it as i do... i recommend the "witchita" cast album (the only US recording. olc is weak) to EVERYONE. although its hard to find, YOU WILL LOVE IT!
I looooooooooooooooooove Honk! We did it 4 years ago.
mine too. hate it. loaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaath it. I can't stand it...
I heard one song from it on bww.com radio and I thought it was really bad. But, it is only one song.
my school did it when i was like in the 4th grade, i loved it! but it may be differnt from the bway show, my diretor likes to put her own twist on things

Honk! is a good show when its done well. When it is not, it is the worst show EVER made. Okay, I take that back. I saw dracula.
HONK is a fun show and quite moving when staged well, but it really must have a very clever creative production team and director as well as a top-notch cast with excellent comedic timing. One hammy actor and the show is completely ruined. The score is charming with some memorable tunes like He's Different and Warts and All.
