Add ThanksKilling the Muscial to the list. Based off of the cult film of the same name.
It had it's world premiere in Seattle, a showcase in NY last spring and it's southeast premiere at Dad's Garage this fall.
The Cast Recording Was just released on iTunes and it's pretty darn funny.

The horror in that one is staying for the whole show.

Ghost Brothers was not as bad as people say it was. It was not great but not a dog as many say it was. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion..

This relatively new -- very serious -- adaptation of Night of the Living Dead was a huge hit for New Line Theatre in St. Louis -- big audiences and incredible reviews...

New Line is always on the lookout for outstanding horror musicals, but not spoofs or parodies...

I saw Ghost Brothers of Darkland County -- it was powerful and terrifying. Totally outstanding.

I have a musical based loosely on "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" in development, but it was put on the back-burner due to a more commercial development and the struggle to get it submitted to NYMF in time, so that one is forthcoming!

Vox Lumiere has a rock horror version of The Phantom of the Opera. The costumes are steampunk with a modern twist, and the whole thing comes across as a dystopian nightmare. While the cast sings, the Lon Chaney movie is projected on the screen behind the stage. The onstage Phantom wears goggles -- not a mask. Vox Lumiere's tour ended, I think, in LA (where I saw the production) late in 2014. Since then Vox Lumiere has moved on to another show. This one was pretty darned impressive, but weird as hell.
