I live in Monmouth County (exit 117), not that far from AP, and thanks for that info on SA. I will check it out, but I saw that show not that long ago on a tour in New Brunswick.

Anyway, curently, my favorite show is Billy Elliott, I've seen it in NY 3X, London, national tour in Tempe, AZ, and next week, at the Canon Theatre in Toronto.

I traveled to San Francisco and then Toronto to see Hugh Jackman's one-man show multiple times. In 2006 I journeyed to Australia to see several performances in Brisbane of the arena production of The Boy from Oz. I live and work in NJ, so I also do small-scale travel dozens of times each year to see B'way and Off-B'way fare. So the short answer is yes, I travel to see shows I really want to see.

Approximately 1,089 miles. Did it all the time when I traveled from Miami to NYC.

Like most, it usually has to be somewhere I'm travelling already. I do go to Seattle and Vancouver a lot to see shows (I currently live in Victoria, BC--not Montreal lol), but they're a quick ferry ride away. When I lived in Montreal, I traveled a few times to Toronto. And I was in San Francisco in May and saw Tales of the City, but I was going there for a week with friends already, so it was more of a bonus.

When I was just out of high school I got a 6 month job working in Dublin, and I did plan a 10 day trip to London on the way there--I stayed with a friend, but I saw 8 shows, so I suppose technically that was the furthest I traveled, but I was going already...

(And sooner or later I will be making an NYC trip that will be primarily to see shows--and some people I know)
