Inappropriate for whom? I'm not sure how brief, tasteful nudity or drug references automatically make a show "inappropriate". It truly depends on the person for whom you are considering the show.
As a blanket statement, however, it has more than drug references -- there is blatant drug use. (mostly pot) addtionally, there are MANY sexual references/situations.
Personally: I would suggest High School and up, but I'm sure there are individuals younger that could handle it. My kids 12 & 8 listen to the recording constantly and I don't censor it in any way. But bring them to see it? Not yet.

For me it's entirely appropriate. For you, who can say?
Very poor choice of adjective!

Nudity, language, simulated drug use, a fair amount of clothed simulated sex...
And my 16-year-old daughter would probably love every second of it. Not for that content necessarily, but for the entire atmosphere of the show. I swear she was born 40 years too late.

Well,not EVERY sex act...
How about a second verse for "Sodomy":
Sodomy... Rusty Trombone...
Dirty Sanchez... Cleveland Steamer...

I was at the revival one night where, after Bryce finished that number, not one but two families with small children *fled* the theatre. Apparently the listing of pharmaceuticals in Hashish is fine, but the listing of sex acts in Sodomy, not so much.
