They did it before with Paul O'Grady's drag persona Lily Savage but he was already an established Drag act so it kind of took over the essence of the character itself in my opinion.

And while I agree that Loudon is a hard act to follow, it doesn't mean the musical should never be produced again. I do, however, resent a man taking this good role away from a woman. There are plenty of other roles Horwood could play.

I think the "you" was referring to women, who get all the most juicy Musical Theatre roles. I don't know what led him to believe you were a woman, however.
