I've been 12 times so far this year, which averages to 2.4 a month. We don't have nearly as many shows here - a couple of weeks ago we had 5 professional musicals playing for 3 days so threw a party (jk...although there seriously was a celebration a couple of years ago when there were 4 playing: https://aussietheatre.com.au/features/four-show-pile-melbournes-four-major-musicals-one-big-photo

I come to NYC 2-4 times a year to see shows, and usually see 4 shows a weekend. Depends on my budget and availability of my show buddy who meets me in NYC.
