How accurate is the Tonys and the Fans' Choice Awards?

Are the Tonys voters required to preview all nominations or they just guess?

I tried the BWW Fans' Choice Awards and it was a very had decision since I had to guess and go with familiarity and name recognition...

It's actually the other way around. I exploit the blog to generate musical awareness and extra traffic to bww :)

How can any award show be "accurate"? There is no right or wrong, it's all subjective.

Did you read the list?

You KNOW, as well as I do, that a large amount of those predictions are not even realistic.

Don't give me the "it's all subjective" crap. I will eat my hat the day Aaron Lazar wins a Tony for his performance in TALE.

Um....I was referring to the OP. He ASKED how accurate are the awards. I was simply responding that in no way can ANY award show be "accurate".

His list was indeed unfathomable....but it has nothing to do with ACCURACY.

I think some of you guys are slightly confused. That was not the original poster's list of PREDICTIONS. It was his "fans' choice"-- he picked his personal favorite performances of the year, regardless of what he thought would win the actual Tonys.
