Obviously a blow was taken today. Not a shocking one, but still saddening to say the least.

How are you all doing? If anyone needs to let it out, get something off their chest, or just needs an "I see you. I hear you." I am more than happy to.

I long for the day to be in the room with many of you again.

Doing fine here! Just polishing off my resume so I can submit for “real people” jobs.

Def a blow, but wasn’t unexpected. A whole season and a half canceled. Ugh.

Not ok, TBH. Just got off the phone with my dad and the subtle callousness of tossing off these COVID deaths as the "natural order of things, I'm tired of hearing about it, I'm just gonna live my life" and even a really subtle anti vaxx statement just set me off...just the entire lack of empathy for others who've lost their lives AND livelihoods due to a failed pandemic response is just too much today. Literally wondered why I cared about Broadway extended closure since that wasn't my income source. I wish I were kidding. Had to remind him that I WAS working in an industry that also was basically dead and in many way still is.

I find it the utmost hypocrisy that the camp screaming about how what we're doing is economically destructive and how people are losing their businesses, etc. is the same group not taking it seriously, not wearing masks, we all know this type. Guess what...if you took it seriously and wore masks, we could get through this faster, with less death, and you wouldn't have to hear about it anymore. I don't want anyone to lose their life or livelihood any more than the next person does, but good grief the mental gymnastics that most conservative lighting people attempt...it's not a good day for me.

Heard and understood. You're not alone in these thoughts. Thinking of you.

I'll be honest. I've been rather blue this week. I miss my favorite aunt and best friend, who live in CA. and CO,respectively. It's been a year this month since I've seen either of them. My aunt is the healthiest (emotionally) person in my family besides my mom,and she is my only aunt. I was also sad to read about the Broadway shutdown being extended yet again. Then I have the co-worker who's been grumping around all week and is a Trump supporter. But I know things will get better.

I also hope Company will return and that the leading lady who is my favorite performer won't be replaced.

I'm constipated right now. Other than that, I'm okay.
