It's just gross! And I know FOR A FACT that they shake hands with people afterwards.

How would you know if ANY human being being whose hand you shook washed their hands after they used the facilities? You don't. That's why you wash YOUR hands.
This is ridiculous.

I think the NYC Council should get right on top of this condemning the practice.
It would be on par with a number of the sillier things they have done. The latest is wanting to fine manufacturers of electronic equipment if people that bought it do not dispose of it properly.
Its predecessor , the Board of Estimate, was a joke unto itself.I got a real good civics lesson about 30 years ago showing how little power people have & how politicans could care less about right or wrong. I speak from experience.
