Posted: 12/1/07 at 2:59amI do love me some Chicago Theatre though. It is making such a great comeback here. If only there was room for some more broadway sized theatres that BIC would own, then I am convinced we would be getting so many more shows (or havea few more sit-downs). But seeing as there is no room to build more theatres, and I think BIC has finally realized what a HORRIBLE venue the Auditorium Theatre is for Broadway shows (either that or the Auditorium has lots of prior committments so BIC cannot use the theatre for awhile) because as of right now BIC has no shows comming into the Auditorium. Which is good because it is a horrible venue, but on the other hand we could get a few more shows, or some of the shows that are schedueled to come into town could stay a little longer, like Avenue Q, which will only be in town for like, a week. Which sucks, because tickets for that will FLY with such a limited run.

Posted: 12/5/07 at 12:07pmDespite what the hotel people said, did you honestly think it would run 2 hours? I'm not trying to be rude here, but the strike just ended close to the concert date, so they probably did not have a lot of time to prepare. I would think they'd want more preparation time for a 2 hour concert.

Posted: 12/5/07 at 4:46pmI actually didn't know what to expect, but I didn't think it'd be 30 minutes. Don't get me wrong, I really appreciated that they did something like that for free and it was a really cool thing to see. But when the hotel people said two hours, I kinda thought it'd be two hours.
