How did (has) the arts affected your life in HIGH SCHOOL?!

Hey everyone! I am doing a project for school and need to get statements from people about how the arts have affected their time in High School - or lack there of?

I was lucky enough to go to the best high school in the country, Regis High School, located in Manhattan. Instead of typical class trips, we had 'X-Days', where there were numerous cultural trips around the city, and kids from any class could sign up for any trip. The options often included Wednesday matinees, and it was first exposure to Broadway. By my senior year, I was able to take an elective called 'Theater In New York', and I was attending the school plays and working on stage crew.
