#1How do Telecharge and Ticketmaster mail tickets (envelope size, etc.)?

I'm surprising a family member with Broadway tickets and I've ordered some from Telecharge and some from Ticketmaster. In both cases, I selected "deliver hard copy tickets via USPS." I'm hoping to anticipate how they will arrive so that I can avoid any spoiling of the surprise. Does anyone know how they send them? Is it in just a small/normal size envelope that could fit in my mailbox (which would be great since I'm the only one with a key)? Or is it in a larger/padded envelope? Does anyone need to sign for them?
Thank you!!

also, they are not obviously marked as telecharge or ticketmaster to prevent mail theft

Posted: 5/15/14 at 8:28pmThe envelope may be unmarked, but I think most ticket vendors use an actual ticket - with your address printed on it instead of the event - in the window of the envelope. You can tell it's tickets.

Posted: 5/15/14 at 9:31pmNo one was trying to say that not having Ticketmaster written on the envelope makes it theft proof. The best defense against theft is to have a secure, sturdy mailbox that locks. But these days almost all venues use a scanner, so if you don't get a ticket by mail for whatever reason, you call them, they disable the barcode on it and have a new one waiting for you at the box office. Or if people are that worried about it, either do print at home or will call. Problem solved. I believe we will reach a point in the not too distant future where hard copy tickets by mail will no longer even be an option and almost all tickets will be electronic or pdfs you print out.

Posted: 5/16/14 at 9:50pmI hope not. I LOVE having my ticket stubs as mementos of the show. And the couple of shows I've seen where print it yourself tix were the only option annoyed me! LOL.
