I hope it's corn puddin' for everyone.

Seems pretty clear based on the list so far:

Big musicals have the budget to give a gift.

Limited runs and non-profits don't find it a necessary use of finite funds.

There will always be exceptions, but I think it's a safe prediction.

I'll be going as I want to see Isa Briones. It is unfortunate that she 1) didn't overlap with Groff and 2) tickets are priced higher when she does overlap w/ Jordan. C'est la vie!

This show seems to post this message once a month.

It's like...Advertising 101 that someone needs to see a product 7-20 times before they decide to buy it. That's the entire point.... lol

And every single time, the answer is the same: Cromer is directing, not Letts. It just seemed odd that both said the exact same thing…"

Cromer is directing. Letts wrote it. 

This is how rumors start - someone hears something, repeats it out of laziness, and now here we are, someone dot-dot-dotting a post about it, suggesting the erroneous info could be true. Siiiigh.

Also, don't use ChatGPT for anything, and especially not for fact-checking. 

More interestingly, HERE is a very intriguing teaser posted by MTC yesterday. (I'll also give you 5 cents if you correctly  guess who it says the creatives on this production are).

This musical is incredibly popular in local/regional theatres and colleges. I actually wonder how much of its capitalization it's cheaped away at via licensing...

I have AMC A-List and see 3-4 movies a month on average. Since you can see how many tickets are reserved for any screening, I do lean toward the less-popular showtimes - usually matinees - to mitigate the chances by having fewer people present.

And in re: Broadway - no, "bad audience behavior" doesn't discourage me from attending.
