I'll be in NYC soon, and I was just wondering...when a show is selling at 100%, and is totally sold out, such as 700 Sundays, is there any way of getting in? Or should I give up hope?
You can get SRO when the box office opens for something like $20-$26..don't remember. You'll have to stand but if this is your only chance to see the show its worth it. You can also go when the box office opens or even an hour prior to curtain to check for cancellations or house seats that have opened up.
-craigslist
-ebay
-sometimes I find that if I just keep checking ticketmaster/telecharge a ticket will suddenly be released somehow, even up to the night before.
-there is also lotterys
-standing room tickets
-my personal favorite is the cancellation line!
-tkts booth, although the popular shows wont be there they have good deals.
Can't think of anymore, good luck. Don't give up!

if you have the $$....brokers.
Go to the Box Office one day before or the same day ! It also helps a lot if you are alone, because single tickets are easier to find ! Good luck !
Take care
*dances happily* Ellie's coming, Ellie's coming!!
How do you get into a sell-out show?
Practice, practice, practice.
