I have tickets for a Sunday night, 9:30PM show in March. One Hit Wonders. How long are the shows, and do you have to order food? I also have side stage seating. How bad is that view?
Typically less than 90 minutes. You have to spend $25 per ticket, on drinks or food. It's a tiny venue, so there aren't really bad views for most shows. You'll just see a lot of profile. If the band is too large or too many singers on stage, that can impact side views, too.
The two shows I have seen there were about 75 minutes. You can order food or beverage as long as you spend the coverage minimum. I was not impressed with the food, liked "Birdland" better. I have had side stage seating and it is just fine, it is really a small place.
I love it there. It's cozy. I like to sit in the bar. Seeing Norm Lewis next week and I can't wait. There is a $25 mimimum per person and it adds up fast. The food is overpriced and not so great. We actually go out to dinner before we go. Then we order a couple drinks and something to munch on.

I'm a huge fan of 54 Below (although not their rising prices of late). I actually quite like the food but they don't have any rotation, so its always the same stuff. I really like the scallops and the duck confit salad as entrees. I think either of those should be enough to meet the $25 min. I also like the fries and their drinks. Haven't tried the desserts. But it is all on the pricier side.
It's $25 per person, but if you are going as a group, you just have to meet the total (for example, $50 between 2 people).
The side is okay, but typically obstructed by band members or instruments (like the piano). The one that is all the way to the edge that's raised is pretty awful and I would try to avoid that because you only see people's backs.
