My random thoughts…
Luke Evans-wow wow wow! His “I’m Going Home” is worth the ticket price. I really loved him. I’m hoping my friend wants to see it so I can go back. An incredible performance. (Joshua Henry is still my Tony pick. I’ve loved that man since Violet.) but Luke is awesome and he gets extra points for doing it all in heels. Fun fact: JH and LE both played Gaston!

So disappointed. I had a ticket for tomorrow. I purchased it when they went on sale for $250. Now tix are twice as much. I won’t be able to see her for $500. Bummed. The good news is that Telecharge refunded me with no issues.

I came to the board today to see the reaction to the impending Muppets show. I agree that Rob Lake has zero charisma. He seems a bit bland, but I’ve never been much of a magic fan… but I love The Muppets. I’m wondering what this will look like.
I got tix to Sesame Street Off-Broadway for my nieces. Both of them got sick on the day of the performance-so I went by myself. 😳 Not going to lie, but I felt a little weird. Also, I wanted to see the show more th

Well, if they can do Sunset Boulevard and Some Like It Hot, I think The Apartment could make a cute musical. It’s my favorite Billy Wilder film-maybe my favorite film ever. I would cast Groff as the every man, CC Baxter. There could be a Be a Mench number and that would be a great phrase for merch. It’s a perfect film and feels contemporary even though it was made in the 60s (I think).

I saw this on Thursday after a fabulous lunch at The Barking Dog. Loved that place. Dogs! Avocado toast! Mimosa!
Admittedly, I am not the target audience for this show. (I’m actually too old to have a mimosa anymore.) Anyway, I saw this movie in the theater and then a hundred times after that. I loved it. I really wanted to see the theatrical version because I love the song, Candy Store. It’s a banger.

This is my answer. I really enjoyed Gyllenhaal’s performance. I never say this but GNaGL was kind of boring. Even when a show isn’t working for me, I’m rarely bored.
