Re: “OH MARY!” film to play on HBO Max in 2027
Do we know if it’s being turned into a movie or if it will be the play recorded for HBO?

Best show for a 7 year old?
MezzoDiva47 said: "the book of mormontheyll learn some new vocabulary words to show off at school"I recently revisited BoM to see the OGs. I noticed a little boy. I specifically noticed him because he was wearing a Jaws tshirt and I had a student obsessed with sharks. I was thinking, oh Daquan would love that shirt. Then I thought- who brings a child to BoM-then I saw his mom. It was Annaleigh Ashford! 😳As for the OP, I’d talk to the parents. Some kids are more mature. I think my nieces would...

I understand that her run is very well-sold and it's probably very difficult to offer exchanges to everybody who wants to catch her, but to have your only optio...
THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW reviews
My random thoughts…Luke Evans-wow wow wow! His “I’m Going Home” is worth the ticket price. I really loved him. I’m hoping my friend wants to see it so I can go back. An incredible performance. (Joshua Henry is still my Tony pick. I’ve loved that man since Violet.) but Luke is awesome and he gets extra points for doing it all in heels. Fun fact: JH and LE both played Gaston!I love Amber. I’ve seen her in a few things. I know she has a beautiful voice. I didn’t love her in this. I was missing R...

Also, Shaina Taub is scheduled out on November 19 (both shows) and November 20."November 3rd is a Monday. I’m concerned because I’m seeing this next weekend and I love JH. I absolutely don’t want to miss him. Where do I find if he’s scheduled to be out?
What would you love to see adapted as a musical?
Get out!I had no idea! Not trolling-just dumb.
ROB LAKE MAGIC WITH SPECIAL GUESTS THE MUPPETS to Open at the Broadhurst
I came to the board today to see the reaction to the impending Muppets show. I agree that Rob Lake has zero charisma. He seems a bit bland, but I’ve never been much of a magic fan… but I love The Muppets. I’m wondering what this will look like. I got tix to Sesame Street Off-Broadway for my nieces. Both of them got sick on the day of the performance-so I went by myself. 😳 Not going to lie, but I felt a little weird. Also, I wanted to see the show more than they did.Anyway, this is stating the...
What would you love to see adapted as a musical?
Well, if they can do Sunset Boulevard and Some Like It Hot, I think The Apartment could make a cute musical. It’s my favorite Billy Wilder film-maybe my favorite film ever. I would cast Groff as the every man, CC Baxter. There could be a Be a Mench number and that would be a great phrase for merch. It’s a perfect film and feels contemporary even though it was made in the 60s (I think).
Rumor: Muppets Christmas Spectacular on B’way
I’d absolutely love this. (See avatar)
I saw this on Thursday after a fabulous lunch at The Barking Dog. Loved that place. Dogs! Avocado toast! Mimosa! Admittedly, I am not the target audience for this show. (I’m actually too old to have a mimosa anymore.) Anyway, I saw this movie in the theater and then a hundred times after that. I loved it. I really wanted to see the theatrical version because I love the song, Candy Store. It’s a banger.I do not get this show at all. My main issue is Veronica. I don’t know if it’s a directorial...
Which Show Is Better
dramamama611 said: "I've had no desire to see GLAGN, but will say this: Gyllenhaal's performance is worth going for."This is my answer. I really enjoyed Gyllenhaal’s performance. I never say this but GNaGL was kind of boring. Even when a show isn’t working for me, I’m rarely bored. I sat in mezz row A and felt so far removed from the action. If you’re in the orchestra, it might work better for you. Still fun to see Clooney in person but that’s the one I’d skip.

Anyone seen both who can comment?"I sat at a table for both shows. Lady Day used high tables, spaced further apart. The floor area seemed larger and more spacious. JIT-the tables and low and closer together. The floor area felt smaller overall. The people in the front rows by the tables couldn’t see a thing. I overheard one man...
Broadway Flops you love that everybody else hates
I loved The Prom. Wouldn’t have thought it was a flop. Now I’m wondering about The Life. I liked it a lot. Not sure if it was considered a flop.
