How high is the stage for A:OC at the Music Box? I saw it front row at the Imperial and it was great. Any height changes with the transfer?
I don't think there is. Everything is more condensed because the stage at the Imperial is wider then the stage of the Music Box.
I would recommend the Mezz for ths show because you get an overall better view of the set and the upstairs of the house.
I agree with Winston -- I sat in the fourth row and was over to the side. It was still too close. The set is HUGE and magnificent. I think this would be a great show to see from the Mezz.
The stage in and of itself is VERY high at the Music Box. I'm not usually one to complain about stage height, but the St. James and the Music Box have insanely high stages.
Are the AUGUST rush seats for the front row?

No, I don't think they are. The tickets are subjcet to availability so I assume the give you whatevery is left over. The last couple of times I tried they didn't have any because they expected the performance to be sold out. I ended up getting a ticket on and saw it form the mezz. In my opinion it's the best place to see the show because you get a great view of all the action in the house. I still can't get over how amazing that set was!
I know that for student rush at the Imperial they had a section of tickets in the front mezz for student rush tickets. But, I think it is really subject to availability. I don't know how well the student rush tickets sell. Last time I did student rush for August the show was at the Imperial and it was a wednesday at half hour before curtain. I don't know how it is now that they have switched theatres because I haven't tried yet.
Just a note on the Music Box in general, it is one of the coldest theatres I have been in. Bring a warm sweater with you.
I highly recommend sitting in the Mezz. I will only see shows from the Mezz in that theatre from now on.
I sat in what was literally the last row in the Music Box and was very happy with my view.
Definitely go with mezz for this one.

Totally off topic, but was anybody bothered by the noise from the outside while watching the show? It was ridiculous when I saw it on a Wednesday matinee. I was able to hear all of the Mario Lopez fangirls' screams as he came out of the stagedoor after his show(I'm guessing here) during Act III. And the police sirens were so distracting. I haven't had a problem at any theater except at The Music Box. (And maybe Studio 54, where I felt the floor of the balcony rumble as subway trains went by below us every few minutes.)
