How is HAPPINESS Already Sold Out?

It's ridiculous how fast these things sell out. I asked my dad for tickets to Ragtime at the Kennedy Center just a few days after they went on sale, and they were almost completely sold out except for the most expensive tickets. (I'm stil going, though.)

THANK YOU!! I was wondering the exact same thing. I'm hoping that they just haven't released all the tickets for the first few nights, but really that doesn't even make sense. When I extended my search for all the available dates, tickets popped up. However, when I tried for my available dates (the first weekend of previews) it said no tickets are available. Has anyone tried calling or is no one there over the weekend?

Don't even get me going on this issue, i waited for the stroke of 12 to get tix, and almost everything was gone. I threw my laptop across the room. Well if it sells so much, maybe they will extend.

The small Newhouse theatre + Lincoln Center Theatre's large membership base + A new Stroman/Weidman/Frankel/Korie musical + Joanna Gleason, Hunter Foster, Ken Page and many other popular actors = Sold Out.
More seats should become available once house seats and seats being held for donors are released.
An LCT membership can definitely be well worth the money sometimes.

This happens at the Newhouse often. Seats will open up.

I actually think htis has a good chance at transferring, with such a high-profile cast and crew, and accessible subject matter.

Well, if it's good. I'm so excited to see this, I really hope I can get a ticket. I'll splurge and pay full price.

Ouch. Didn't realize it was going to cost me close to $100 to see an Off-Broadway musical. Jeez.
I wish their stupid StudenTix program wasn't full.

Hey, don't feel too bad about Studentix not being open right now...I am a regular LCT subscriber and my daughter has Studentix, but in order for us to go see a show together, I had to wait until now to get seats for us because the Studentix members are not allowed to get tickets until the general public does...hence my early bird advantage in getting seats is gone! Guess I'll be checking the website periodically looking for anything that's been released just like all the non-members...

Yeah, I hate how LCT makes it really hard to get student rush. They should do away with this program and do it like everyone else does!

Tried to make a new thread but apparently forgot to hit Post Message. I have been trying pretty much every night to get tickets for this, but it kept saying Sold Out. Well I just made another attempt, pretty much in vain. Only I was quite happy to see a ticket pop up. I am now going on the 27th (first night of previews, so if they push back I'm kind of killing myself a little) and sitting in Row B. So I would suggest you try now. Yay!!

It's cheaper to buy a membership ($50) and a ticket ($40) than to just buy a regular ticket for $100.

True, but only by a few bucks, but I guess I can foresee myself using the membership again and again, so it is probably more beneficial. Now I just have to save up the $100. Jeez I hope the show is good, ha.

You have no idea how happy I was to post this information. Since the tickets went out sale/sold out, I have probably gone to telecharge at least couple dozen times. And this time I went on there after getting my August ticket just in case and sure enough it didn't give me that annoying "Nothing fits your search criteria" spiel. And I'm sitting in Row B, Seat 30. So I believe that's right next to you and your friends.
This literally made my night. One could say it brought me (wait for it)...happiness. Heh.

The downstairs shows haven't been truly full since the lottery for Godot (or maybe Third). Even The Clean House had seats toward the end. Be patient and seats will open. Not fantastic seats, but seats.
