How is he? I love him on Mad TV and just the pictures of his Edna look hysterical. He looks great in that dress.
I know he's been around for a while in the show, but I'm too lazy to look through all the hairspray threads. I saw Hairspray in 2003 when it first opened and haven't been back since. I can't even imagine another Edna besides Harvey.
...and I'm trying to forget John Travolta's.

He's amazing.
I love him during "Timeless to Me" at:
Wilbur: You're like a stinky old cheese, babe.
Edna: What?
Wilbur: Just getting riper with age.
Edna (Paul): ...Okay!
Uhm, that's the way the song is written.

The other day was my favorite when after his last boob-bells thing (yeah, that's what I'm calling it) he said "That last one sounded like a European telephone. Allo? It's me! I love you!"
He's fab.
Uhm, that's the way the song is written.
Did I every say that it wasn't written that way?

Yeah, all he said was he loved him during this certain part.
Paul is wonderful. I agree with thejcm, the way he says "OK" in Timeless is great.
I also like when he tells Tracy "You get back up here" in a really deep guttural voice!
He is great. I saw him when he played the part at NSMT last year, and his "Timeless" had me on the floor -- Dick DeCareau (Wilbur) and Vogt were slinging jokes at one another and stopped the dhow for a good three minutes of constant laughter. I think that was by far my favorite version (with Bruce Vilanch a close second). His delivery and timing were great as well. All in all a great Edna.
Paul is fabulous. And if he ever gets a Wilbur that he doesn't have to carry... he'll be even more fabulous. Fingers crossed for the fall!
Diva, it's how he delivers it...

me too!
I saw it last week. He was one of the strong points in the show. Gotta love him!

He is beyond fantastic! He lets the show be about Tracy, and really has a fantastic believable maternal take on the role. He is also a great guy in real life.
I HEART Paul Vogt!

Just saw him tonight, he was AWESOME. He did this thing where he was smacking the Beav with his boobs and comparing it to a tennis match... had the crowd in hysterics. Plus he's super nice at the stagedoor!
