How is front row at Playwrights Horizon?

I'm looking for tickets for "Far From Heaven" and Im only offered front row. How is front row for that venue?

The one time I sat front row there, I was covered in the spittle of the performers by curtain.

PH has a platform stage so you won't be looking up in the first row, in fact, you will be so close to the stage that you will feel like you are part of the show.
