I am going to see Xanadu at 2PM this Sat the 28th but I am taking the bus.
I will be at the The Port Authority Bus Terminal but how long of a walk is it from there to The Time Square area?
it is only half a mile and 3 min driving time but howabout walking?
Port Authority is between 41st and 42nd on 8th... and the Helen Hayes is on 44th so you should only be walking a couple of blocks.
That shouldn't take longer than 4-5 minutes.
I attended the Tonys and saw Xanadu's performance was very magical and funny. I know of course they altered it for the Tonys but anyways I was watching and reading testimonials and I saw that people got glowsticks and stating with the cast on the stage and what not. I know there are on stage seating but did not get that. So as a regular ticket holder, do I get a glowstick and anything else? lol
If you're sitting in the audience, they charge $1 for the glowsticks.
If you are from L.A it will be torture.
If you are from anywhere else in the world... a hop, skip and a jump.

your walk is short don't worry.
as for glowsticks.. if u sit onstage u get the glowsticks for free, but if ur in the regular house u pay $1
im coming from outside Allentown PA, the bus times are very flexible and greatly priced.
I know this is getting ridiculous but are the Xanadu glow sticks in a XANADU wrapper or say xanadu on it or something?
Nope, just a glowstick. And not a far walk at all. From Port Authority to Central Park is a different story.
Have a fun trip!
is the stage door where all the xanadu reviews are on the purple flat doors?
No, it is the metal-bar gate to the right of those doors.
The stage door is a gate door to the left after you exit the main entrance.
You'll see the on-stage audience members exiting through there first, then the cast.

Enjoy the show!
OT: I am a crazy city walker, I made it from my bus in Port Authority to the Marquis in two minutes. I'm really tall, so I have long legs, but when you said 4-5 minutes, I was like really? I guess that's right for a normal person. Haha.
I didn't know they charge for glow sticks now.
