Considering a trip to New York during the Passover / Easter period. I am wanting to keep my schedule flexible and I want to keep tickets cheap. Will availability at the TKTS booth vary substantially from what it is now? I am not looking into doing any rushes or SRO. Just maybe walking to the booth on the same day of the show around 5 or 6 pm and grabbing a last minute ticket . Mostly on a week night. In my list of shows I am considering are Dolly( yet again) Bands Visit, Jerry Springer and depending on mood.. Angels in America. I might get a advance ticket for My Fair Lady.. Thoughts?

I don't think you will have any issues with getting a discount ticket for Angels. I have a feeling Dolly will do very well over those weekends. But since your considering a week night you should be fine.

if you're in a gambling mood, and you have a number of choices, I'd head to the booth 20 minutes before curtain. I've gotten house seats a number of time for some performances. last week I was third row for Waitress (but on the extreme side) Dolly seems to be available a lot especially during the week. TDF has been offering tickets for Tuesdays through Thursday for Dolly.

I’ll plan on doing that . I was just curious if a surge in attendance is expected during these holidays .
