I know this Board has a low tolerance for ignorance, but please bear with me. I have an extra ticket to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. One Orchestra seat for 7:30 on May 31 and 7:30 on June 1. What's the best way to sell these? How does the money transfer and delivery work? I'm just looking for face value, not looking to make a profit. They were purchased through Ticketmaster and it looks like the only delivery method offered is an eTicket which will be available on May 28. Ticketmaster will not refund because it's within 28 days of the performance. Is returning them to the Lyric Theater an option? Thanks for your help.

You can sell it here. How much are you asking? It says you don’t accept PMs.

You can definitely try to sell it here - lots of people do. You'll get a much better response if you create a new post where the title is something like "1 Harry Potter ticket for sale (5/31 and 6/1 show) Orchestra face value (or the price you're asking" Once you (hopefully) sell it you go back into that post and either change the subject line to "DELETE" or you post at the end of the thread that the ticket is sold.
Asking people to PM you for the price seems sketchy, as it implies you're not selling at face value. This board doesn't have a high tolerance for people scalping tickets at inflated prices.

same thing I thought.
The Lyric won't refund it, and they'll probably give you the Ticketmaster phone number. If you want to sell it here, you'd make arrangements for the buyer to send you the money, and, once it's received, you would tranfer the ticket to their Ticketmaster account. Since we're all basically strangers, this kind of transaction calls for some trust, but I've never seen anyone post about getting burned this way.

Thanks for the advice. I wasn't sure of the etiquette around here. Will make a new post.

Chanced the title here, too. I hope this is OK. This board is a little quirky.
Anyway, selling for what I paid Ticketmaster, minus the fees which I will not pass on.
5/31-6/1 Orchestra Left Row B Seat 5. $299 per part.
Edit the title on your original post to change it on the thread listing.
