How to stream the Tonys LIVE on the West Coast? — Page 2

1. Open Chrome.
2. Press Ctrl + Shift + I (Windows) or Cmd + Option + I (Mac) to open Chrome Developer Tools
3. Press Esc, then select Sensors
4. There will be an option to change your GeoLocation. Change it to Custom Location. You will need to insert coordinates for latitude and longtitude. I searched a random spot in Manhattan on Google maps and got my coordinates there.
5. Refresh your browser.
6. CBS All Access should show the Tonys to be at 5 PM (I live in San Diego) now.
Important Note: DO NOT CLOSE THE CHROME DEVELOPER TOOLS (the ones that look like lines of code). THE GEOLOCATION WILL RETURN TO DEFAULT IF YOU DO."
I tried to follow the instructions, but saw no "sensors" option when I hit Esc on my (Mac) Chrome. Is it specific to the app/code for the site?

Click on that sign that looks like three dots on the right side. Under "more ____" there should be "sensors". (Sorry, not with my computer right now.)

Doesn't work. Nothing says sensors.

OK. Got it now! But now a total stupid question. How do you get the coordinates on google map?

Doubleclick on a street location (not a business or marked site)
This will bring up a pop-up box where you should see the street address and, beneath it in gray, the latitude and longitude [ RCMH is about 40.76, 73.98 ]

I tried this entering those coordinates and got a "Sorry your local CBS station is not currently available." message
NEVERMIND! entered some coordinates for Philly and it worked

Followed these instructions, but CBS All Access still knows I'm in LA (tried both NYC and Philly). Kept the developer tool open, etc. Anyone have any insights? Ugh!

I am having the same issue.

Thanks theater_tech!! Your instructions and subsequent clarifications worked for me! Excited to watch the tonys live for once

It is not working.

For those of you not working, I think you would require an extra step: establishing a VPN. Instructions can be found here: https://www.expressvpn.com/support/troubleshooting/spoof-location-google-chrome/. I don't know why some don't have to do it...

Oh wow, I'm so surprised how many people found my instructions helpful! You're all very welcomed! Warms my heart after my disappointment in Chavkin's and Malloy's losses tonight :)
