Yes, Hugh is indeed gay... He was married to Tracy Shayne (who played Christine in POTO) for a time though

Yuppers!! I saw and met him recently after a POTO show. He's amazingly friendly and nice. My grandmom and his mom are friends.
Not only is Hugh an amazing actor, but he is the nicest guy ever! I met him after an audition on the street and he bought me dinner and signed a play bill and then gave me a signed head shot and some other publicity shots from phantom. What a fun night that was...too bad he's gay or it could've been a "date." oh well, it was more like a karen/jack night! But, seriously, nicest guy ever...
