"I Can Get It For You Wholesale" - 2 CD Deluxe set to be released in January 2022

I love Stage Door and can vouch for their quality. Their "Kean" was from the commercial reel-to-reel and the sound was amazing. Ditto "Destry Rides Again." I have read that the "Wholesale" is also from reel-to-reel and for sure it will sound great like the others. What I also like about Stage Door are the booklets which feature nice essays and graphics. I always look forward to their releases, especially their "deluxe" sets as you get so many bonus tracks!!! You get a real snapshot of the excitement of any particular show when it was brand new on Broadway. Stage Door has also put out some titles that were first time on CD, such as "Ambassador" and "Annie" (OLC) One word of caution --- I had a devil of a time getting "Kean" because it was a limited edition (as is "Wholesale" and it had sold out before I could snag a copy. Had to go to eBay!

I CAN GET IT FOR YOU WHOLESALE will be Classic Stage Company's musical revival next year, per an email newsletter from the "Spotlight on Plays" people. Assuming this would be the revised version by John Weidman & Trip Cullman that the Roundabout and Jeffery Richards were previously developing a few years back and had readings with Santino Fontana.
