I could be wrong but it seems as if the Shubert Organization has thrown in the towel on fixing the Telecharge website. There have been no significant improvements since this thread was started in August. They've also stopped posting here offering tips or suggestions or to ask questions of our user experiences. They no longer acknowledge known issues or give any indication as to how soon they plan to resolve them.
Sad.

I can't believe I'm saying this but Ticketmaster is A LOT better now. Before Ticketmaster implemented the interactive seat map, I preferred Telecharge (even minus the pick your own set option). I think Telecharge tried too hard and fixed things that there were not problems with. The design is not user-friendly. I recently purchased tickets to a show and many times forgot to fill in fields that were easy to overlook.
Couldn't Telecharge just implement an interactive seating chart and make fewer cosmetic changes? I've even had the option of picking my own seats for larger concerts with thousands of seats available, so I'm glad Ticketmaster is at least listening to consumers and is more user-friendly. Even though the interactive seating chart isn't always an option, I like Ticketmaster better.

Posted: 5/24/13 at 11:38amPlease check your PMs if you've had an issue on Telecharge.com. We would like to get more information to help rectify these situations. Also, we are implementing several updates at the end of the month. Thank you for letting us know about your experience as we continue to work on the site.

Posted: 5/24/13 at 12:00pmI would just like to reiterate the request to allow for a search by price level, not just by section that includes multiple levels, an improved selection of seats via a graphical interface (see, by the way, the City Center site that works surprisingly even on an IPad), as well as less frequent security checks. I personally think there should just be one security check after tickets have been put into the shopping cart for checkout but not when browsing. Thanks for considering!

Seriously. Good luck trying to pick the exact seat you want. Your cursor needs to be on either the seat in front of, or to the side of the seat you actually want.
This site is such a massive cluster F*CK, I can't believe they didn't just start over and make it like TIcketmaster or even Roundabout.
TELECHARGE - PEOPLE DON'T CARE ABOUT TEN MILLION GRAPHICS ON YOUR SITE. THEY CARE ABOUT BEING ABLE TO SEE WHAT SEATS ARE AVAILABLE AND PICK THEM. GET IT?

I said this already and will say it again. I think Ticketmaster has made a vast improvement in its website and has successfully responded to customer requests. FYI I don't work for Ticketmaster...but I used to hate them for buying tickets to Broadway shows. So for me to say the opposite now means they've done something right.
The new Telecharge website reminds me of the Internet back in the mid to late 90s. Instead of finding a viable solution, they just threw everything onto one page without any concerns for organization or usability.
There's a random person from Telecharge who posts on this thread infrequently, but when he (or she?) does, none of the feedback is ever taken into consideration.
This is what happens when you hire people who know absolutely nothing about marketing and interactive design. Or when you leave your two year old in charge of making website updates.
