I am interested in the show. I like the music on the site a lot.

I am not sure if it's going to make the cut when I am in New York in January, but it's very intriquing.

It looks cute. It actually reminds me of Ave.Q. Not just because Steph is starring, but the whole "I gotta find my Mr. Right/Purpose themes. I am sure it will be a huge hit with the single women who need confirmation that true romance WILL come if we can just put up with sh!t a little while longer. I don't see it moving to Broadway, but I am sure it will live a long time in regional or dinner theatres where shows like "I Love You You're Perfect" and "Menopause:The Musical" thrive!

I'm really interested in seeing this show but is $65 a normal price for off-broadway tickets? It seemed a little pricey to me. Does anyone know if they will be selling rush tickets or something of that sort?

I don't know about the rush tickets, but I am sure there will be a lottery that will make it possible to see this show over and over.

My friend who's in it told me they are having Sat. @ 10PM shows that will always be $25 ticket prices.
And no, there are not puppets in the show. (was that a joke?)

I understand that there will be Saturday nigth performances for $25 but I don't think I wanna see a show at 10pm. Tad late for me to travel in and out of the city (i live in NJ).

I think every show could benifit from a good puppet number. CARNIVAL and FLAHOOLEY proved that. Maybe if things aren't working out so well in previews they could add a couple to I Love You Because.

If they're not already out, there will soon be discount codes available so you don't have to pay $65. Also, for Newsical, you could buy $20 tickets at the box office 15 minutes before each show, as long as they still have tickets available. Since it's the same theatre and producers (or some of the same producers) I'm assuming they'll do the same thing for this, but not sure.

ETA: I just checked broadwaybox. Use the code HOTDEALS for $37 tickets.

I meant that since that was the policy for Newsical and it's at the same theatre with some of the same producers, there's a good chance that the policy will be the same.

There was one number in Newsical with sock puppets about stem cells that John Tartaglia wasn't in, but afterwards, he sang a song about how he hates puppets and is tired of people asking him all kinds of stupid questions about them. John's number was really funny.

I loved that number and also the whole Carol and Liza thing. They both did really great impersonations! I also loved the grandmothers at the airport and John's sexual harassment song.
