How is there not one of these yet?
Saw today's matinee and was in awe. Review will be up shortly.
Who else has gone in the first couple days?

I saw it for the second time today. I was also at the first preview. i left the first preview loving the music but with an overall "eh" feeling about the show.
that changed today. they made some changes since the first preview that really worked well. and sitting second row, vs. front row makes a huge difference, IMO. Being front row I felt so close to what was happening that I had a hard time absorbing it all. Second row allowed me to take in more of what was happening on the periphary (sp?? sorry, i'm tired).
Jared Stein (Rent/SA tour) conducted the show today, and I heard afterwards from a cast member that today was the first show he conducted. He did a phenomenal job. Do not know if this is a permanent thing or not.

Posted: 4/3/10 at 10:40pmI also saw the March 27th evening performance. I am a huge Green Day fan (they are my favorite band) and "American Idiot" is one of my fave albums of all time. I love the show. It is a great blend of theatrics and mainstream pop/rock music.
