Posted: 3/18/04 at 11:54pmi happen to know that Manley Pope besides being in All Shook Up is also being heavily considered for the lead in cry baby. they start casting this summer.

Posted: 3/19/04 at 6:01pmCry-Baby should make a good musical....just as long as they keep all the good stuff from the movie in: the French kissing montage, Amy Locane's monologue about how her parents died, and OMG!! the orphanage! BWA-HA HA HA!!!! John Waters is a genius even when he's tepid. How can you not love a movie that has Iggy Pop, Traci Lords, and Patty Hearst in it...genius, I say.
