I am excited about Cry-Baby...

I was reading the quotes in the Broadway.com and getting excited, but I am also worried. I don't know anything about either of the guys. Is Suburb the only musical David Javerbaum has worked on?

I am SO excited about Cry-Baby. and im not suprised that this is being made into a musical after the huge success of Hairpspray. Besides Manley .. any other ideas about casting?

re: javerbaum musicals

Cry-Baby should make a good musical....just as long as they keep all the good stuff from the movie in: the French kissing montage, Amy Locane's monologue about how her parents died, and OMG!! the orphanage! BWA-HA HA HA!!!! John Waters is a genius even when he's tepid. How can you not love a movie that has Iggy Pop, Traci Lords, and Patty Hearst in it...genius, I say.

It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali
