I am hoping Miss Saigon comes back to Broadway soon. Anyone else?

Definitely have to agree with vinnylin.... I would love to see Miss Saigon because I was very young when the original production closed, but it's far too soon. I enjoyed the Les Mis revival because I never got to see the original (I'm a lot younger than people think and I'm glad I never saw the original because at the age I was, I would have hated it) but it's not nessecary.
Seriously, I love Les Mis. But was the revival really nessecary? I love Miss Saigon, but how the hell would a revival be nessecary?
I wouldn't say no to a short return engagement, but only if that's what it was... then again, the Les Mis revival was to be a short return engagement as well...

I was so excited to hear that KISS ME, KATE was being revived several years ago, but i was ultimately disappointed in that production. A revival should add luster to a known show, not take it away. I was disappointed in the current Les Miz (compared to the original) although several of the individual performances were excellent. I have avoided ACL because my memories of the original are so positive. Having seen MISS SAIGON, I don't think it yet merits being brought back.
