I want a revival of some show--ANY show-- with an all-bass cast. Some would be in drag playing the female roles.

I'd like to second or third A Little Night Music. I LOVE that show!

And I'd like to add Rebecca, even though it is set, I just really want to see it!

And I almost forgot! SOMETHING from Kerrigan and Lowdermilk. Anything really, but as soon as they right a book to go with the songs performed at Tales From the Bad Years, then THAT needs to go to bway!

This idea recently came to me. I'm not 100% sure how it would work. It could either be really wonderful or a hot mess. But how about a musicalized version of "The Quiet Man"?

Seriously, i'd say Godspell.
or [Title of Show] can come back to broadway! I like that idea.
Or we can go with Schmerg_The_Impaler's idea of Unicorn the Musical. Gold. Pure gold.

"Godspell" would be a good choice. "Light of the World" is a great song.

Does anyone think that "A Midsummer Night's Dream" has all the elemnet sfor a musical?

I love THE HAPPIEST MILLIONAIRE, but I think it would not make for a good Broadway show. Let the Sherman brothers write something specifically for the stage.
