From what I've heard, Dee will be returning to the Chicago company in a few months. So, Lisa will probably be returning to Broadway in that case.
Do you think Lisa will be taking over for Kerry as the full-time Elphaba?
I hope I can go see the last show. That would be amazing
I have no firsthand knowledge, but I've heard Lisa state numerous times that she likes being the standby because she can focus on other projects at the same time. She loves being able to play the role occasionally and not have to worry about her voice. She calls it a "great gig."

Look at the Broadway grosses, Wicked in NYC isn't going anywhere anytime soon.
congrats to wicked's run in chicago. glad to see lisa and annaleigh will be closing it there. hope to see both in annaleigh's full time role on broadway and i hope to see her as elle full time after the reality one, she has alot going for her. i hope after chicagos run lisa will be full time elphaba on broadway. they both have wonderful voices and unbeliebably great chemistry together.
i agree with sesot...its soldout on broadway every night and at 100 percent capacity every week.
and there is also another tour coming around...

it wont close period maybe in the next 8-10 years but its the hottest ticket on broadway.

dee is taking a two month break and will return in August to close the show in January with either Annaleigh or another Glinda. The Chicago company is amazing, but I'm glad there'll be room for new shows to come to Chicago.
