Ga, thank you for seeing it before bashing it:) It's an honorable thing to do, though its dying quickly these days.:)

I loved it, but thats me. I also thoroughly enjoyed Brooklyn, so who the heck knows what defines my taste? (Though my Python obsession and the pic to the left may have had SOMETHING to do with that...)

Look at it this way - if you only pay $26, you only need to enjoy 1/4th of the show to get your money's worth. If you like a couple of the songs, a couple of the performers, hell - even if you just like the set, it's worth it.

liotte, I say go anyway.
We watched the movie again about three weeks ago....and I have to say it was nowhere near as funny as it was the first time I saw it.
We decided to go see Spamalot next month anyway. It's live, it's somewhat fresh, and it will be different.
I'm really looking forward to it.

By the way did you win a ton of $$$ in Vegas?

I love the Python movies and didn't like SPAMALOT very much, so I would say no, don't waste your money.

I never saw the movie, only heard some of the songs and a few of the skits. I saw Spamelot and really loved it. I just watched the movie a few weeks ago...didn't like it at all. The movie is very dry, and the show is over the top.

they only sell standing room if they're sold out, but it IS pretty much sold out for months to come. Be advised - the wall you stand behind is pretty damn tall. Hope you are too.
