The cuts don't help the storytelling, the production is bare bones and they go for the '50s-style happy ending.
The audience cheers like mad at the end. It's the Russian ballet, after all..."

I'm definitely going in with a clean slate. I've never seen it or heard the music (except for that main song). I don't even know the story although I do know what it's about... to be honest there are a lot of other shows I'd rather see instead but my friend's boyfriend is in it and my friend flew in from Denver just to see him so it should fun. I don't get to see my friend very ofter so I'm actually more excited about that than the show. The show is just a fun excuse for us to meet up again, finally!

Have a good time, can't wait to read your review. I saw it and Loved it. I thought the sets were cool and the singing was great.

I give it a C+/B- ...just a tad above average. Nothing special, overall a fun show.
