"I'll be there" song - and now ANOTHER new one
#1"I'll be there" song - and now ANOTHER new one

I just heard the end of a song that repeated the words "I'll be there" on Broadway Sirius. It was sung by a male. Does anyone know what show the song is from or the actual title of the song? Thanks!
I feel like name that song (I hate that Broadway Sirius does not always tell you the song title)... How about a song sung by Norm Lewis that originally is sung by a woman, and I think it was kind of a "anthem" when she sang it? Any idea of the title or where I can find it? I can not even remember the words because I heard it yesterday.

I was going to say this was "Anytime" from William Finn's "Elegies," but then I realized that's "I am there" not "I'll be there."

That song he is asking is "The Beauty Pagent Song" ooops .. I mean " I will be there" from The Pirate Queen. I heard it too.
Metoog- You got it right.. that's the only memorable line from the song.. Ill be there.. ill be there... ill be there.... ill be there.... Ill be there......and that's the title of the track.

AT first I thought you were talking about "I'll Be Here" from Lippa's The Wild Party, then I realized they were different.

What a sad dream.
They also had Legally Blonde. But my mom accidentally bought Curtains instead of Legally Blonde, and when I got home I realized this and called her stupid because we already had curtains. And then paraglided over the canals to Circuit City (which was as big as a souvenir shop in NYC I might add. And one of the small shops for T-Shirts). Then I exchanged for Legally Blonde, but around this time was when our reservations at The Olive Garden were so everyone was mad at me until I played "There! Right There!" and "The Sea of Life" for them.
